      The holiday season is all about giving, and here at Faber Builders, Inc. we want to share a few tips on making the holiday preparation easier on everyone. Whether it's baking, wrapping gifts, or donating, we have plenty of resources to help make this a special season for everyone!

      Every family has different holidays traditions. The Iacovangelo family enjoys baking and decorating cookies! There are several recipes that have been passed through family generations. Gift Wrapping Tips

       Gift wrapping is a big job when it comes to the holidays! Not everyone can do as good of a job as Santa’s elves at the North Pole. YouTube has many great videos that show how to get the job done and make it look perfect! Below are a few links to check out:

Making Donations

      There are many organizations around us that are collecting donations and items for those in need this holiday season. Our CEO, Bernie Iacovangelo, has a few recommendations of not-for-profit organizations that are asking for donations. Below mentions some background information along with highly requested items.

• Mary’s Place Refugee is a not-for-profit corporation that helps refugee families navigate their new lives in the City of Rochester. The organization cares greatly about helping all faiths and nationalities adjust to American culture, find employment, learn English, and gain citizenship. • This holiday season, Mary’s Place is collecting gifts and needs help assembling gift bags. The photo below gives more information on how to help! Please consider donating to the great cause. 

• The Pirate Toy Fund is another nonprofit organization near us. They are committed to donating toys to children all throughout the Rochester area. They not only donate during the holidays, but they donate throughout the year! According to their website, they have donated “more than 400,000 toys since 1995 and they continue to actively pursue new avenues to expand its mission.”
• Visit their website as soon as possible to give children in need a Christmas to remember forever.
